Dragons Apprentice Challenge Film 2014

Lee immediately understood what our objective was and fed in some brilliant ideas.  Nothing was too much trouble, he worked closely with each of the 8 charities featured in the short film and quickly won their trust.  He’s a delight to work with.

When the Centre for Voluntary Service (CVS) St Albans and District  approached me in 2013 to produce a focal point for their Dragon’s Apprentice Challenge 2014 awards ceremony, they asked for a film that would be ‘uplifting and  inspirational’.

The four minute film needed to create an immediate impact on the charities, schools and volunteering organisations in the audience. I combined a series of interviews with images of the school children and the work of the various charities. Being part of this certainly grabbed the imagination and enthusiasm of young people, schools and businesses involved. The film set the tone for the evening and attendees left the event saying they felt ‘truly inspired’.

All the charities benefited from the video because it showcased their work to potential donors. In 2014 the Challenge earned almost £84,000 for 56 charitable organisations. It was a great pleasure to be able to support such an exciting project.
